| The beach in the center of Sousse starts at the harbour and stretches north to the Beach Promenade. In opposite to the beaches in the hotel zones, the center beach is being visited by many natives, who play soccer/football, swim or just spend a day at the beach. In the left picture (view to the south) the harbour is shown on the left, the right picture shows the tall building of the Hotel Sousse Palace. | |

beach in the center of Sousse, between the harbour and the southern
hotel zone. Only a few tourists can be spotted here, mostly there are
natives, who often build a sun protection "hut" on the beach from
various materials and items. At least the older women use to enjoy the
water fully clothed. |
